Bitumen: As the base material, it provides waterproofness and adhesiveness, serving as the foundation of the membrane.
SBS modifier (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene Block Copolymer): That is, styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer. It is incorporated into bitumen through physical mixing or chemical modification to enhance the material's elasticity, high and low temperature resistance, and crack resistance.
Reinforcement Carrier: Mostly polyester mat, glass fiber mat, or composite carrier, which plays a role in enhancing the strength, tensile resistance, and tear resistance of the membrane.
Fillers: Such as talc powder and calcium carbonate, which are used to adjust the hardness of the material, reduce costs, and improve construction performance.
Surface Release Layer: Usually polyethylene film (PE film), aluminum foil, or sand particles, which prevent the 卷材 from adhering during storage and transportation, and also provide certain weather resistance or anti-slip properties.
These components work together, enabling the SBS waterproofing membrane to have both the waterproofness of bitumen and the elasticity of SBS, making it suitable for various building waterproofing scenarios.
