Hebei Ruide modified asphalt pre-paved waterproof membrane
Modified asphalt pre-paved waterproofing membranes use petroleum asphalt as a base material, enhanced by the addition of modifiers such as SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) or APP (atactic polypropylene). They are reinforced with a polyester base fabric and coated with specially treated sintered sand, polyethylene film (PE), or an anti-stick coating. Typical constructions include:
Top surface: High-strength sintered sand (such as mullite) or anti-stick particles, which enhance puncture resistance and provide adhesion to subsequent concrete.
Bottom surface: Polyethylene film (PE) or a silicone-coated release membrane, providing temporary isolation during construction and later bonding to the base layer.
Middle layer: A composite of modified asphalt rubber and polyester base fabric, providing tensile strength and elongation.

Excellent Adhesive Properties
Reverse-Adhesive Integration: The upper surface of the membrane directly bonds to the post-cast concrete, forming a "skin-like" waterproofing system to prevent water leakage. For example, the sintered sand on the membrane's surface firmly bonds to the concrete through physical engagement, achieving a bond strength exceeding 1.5N/mm.
Self-Adhesion and Self-Healing: Some products feature a built-in self-adhesive film that heals minor damage (such as punctures less than 2mm) during construction, enhancing waterproofing reliability.
Excellent Mechanical Properties
High Puncture Resistance: The combination of polyester base fabric and sintered sand resists external forces such as rebar binding and stone impact. Typical products boast a puncture resistance exceeding 400N.
High and Low Temperature Resistance: SBS modified asphalt maintains stable performance within a temperature range of -25°C to 90°C, while APP modified asphalt withstands temperatures up to 130°C, making it suitable for use in both extremely cold and hot regions.
Easy and Efficient Construction
Cold Application: No heating or adhesives are required. Waterproofing is completed simultaneously with concrete pouring after direct laying, reducing construction time by over 30%. Strong adaptability of the base layer: Low requirements for base smoothness allow construction on damp surfaces (no visible water), reducing pre-treatment costs.
Long-lasting waterproofing
Aging and chemical corrosion resistance: The modified asphalt's chemical stability resists erosion from groundwater, saline-alkali, and other factors, resulting in a service life of over 25 years.
Water-proof design: The fully bonded structure prevents water from flowing between the membrane and the structure, eliminating the risk of localized leakage and spread associated with traditional open-lay membranes.

Products according to the main material is divided into plastic waterproofing membrance (P class), asphalt-based polyester tire waterproofing membrance (PY class), rubber waterproofing membrance (R class)
● P type: The total thickness of the membrane is 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 1.7mm;
● PY type: 4.0mm;
● R type: The total thickness of the membrane is 1.5mm and 2.0mm;
● Other specifications are determined by both the supply and demand parties.
